Phase 1: Business Process Review & Solution Design

We will begin by meeting with the key decision makers, department heads, and those most knowledgeable about the processes we are automating. The purpose of this meeting is to learn about your current business process and goals in utilizing Salesforce. Gathering these requirements typically takes between 1 and 4 hours, in one or more sessions, and can be conducted remotely or in-person.

After the business process review, we will take the details from our meeting and create a Solution Specifications document, a detailed blueprint outlining your improved process(es) and technical requirements for your Salesforce customizations. Once the Solution Spec is complete, we will have a 1-2 hour meeting with you to review the document in detail and make sure we are on the same page before moving forward. We will make any necessary adjustments to the Solutions Spec and finalize the scope and estimate for the project now that we understand the business case in complete detail. This step is very important as the Solution has been fully thought out before any actual development has taken place. Once we get your approval on the Solution Spec, we will begin implementation.

Phase 2: Implementation

During the implementation phase, our team will complete all of the Salesforce customizations that have been outlined and approved in the Solution Spec. We will work independently during development and will provide regular status updates and request deliverables as needed. We always follow a comprehensive QA process to ensure a smooth deployment and if possible, we will perform and test all customizations in a sandbox environment.

Phase 3: System Review & Revisions

After implementation, we will meet with the same group who participted in the business process review and Solution Spec approval to perform a live demonstration of your new solution. After the system review, we will provide step-by-step User Documentation that will outline all of your Salesforce customizations that we designed. You will then use this documentation to perform further testing and compile a list of any change requests related to in-scope custom functionality. Once all the final revisions, if any, are completed, we will update the User Documentation accordingly and move on to training your users.

Phase 4: Training & Go-Live

When all revisions are finished and approved, we will schedule training sessions with your team. Training can be focused for specific processes and can be conducted remotely or on-site in one or more sessions. Any additional training sessions needed beyond our original estimate will be charged by the hour.

Phase 5: Ongoing Support

After your company has started using your new Salesforce system, we will continue to be available for ongoing Salesforce support and training as needed. This may included regular Salesforce administration, change requests, AppExchange installations, data imports, etc. Salesforce Support is charged on an hourly basis, but you have the option to pre-pay for blocks of hours and use them however you want.

Our Custom Salesforce Implementation service is billed at our standard rate of $150 per hour and is typically completed within 4-6 weeks, depending on your level of customization. Our competitive rates provide access to a team of Certified Salesforce Consultants specializing in different areas. All Salesforce Consulting Services clients receive a Free Initial 30-Minute Consultation to evaluate the scope of work and help you select the right services, after which we will provide a formal proposal with estimates before we move forward.
